"Tacos el Rancho", Félix Soriano, a native of Oaxaca migrant business, was the winner this year of the 12 edition of the Copa Vendy award.
This award is given annually to the best foods sold from a truck in New York, which has more than five thousand "food trucks" on the streets.
Soriano recalled that it was chef's restaurants during twelve years, "and thought that after working 14 or 15 hours every day, to see that the restaurant was filled with the food that I prepared, the millionaire was doing to another with my work."
So he decided to open his own business. First, a butcher shop and grocery store, then in May of last year began selling quesadillas on the public highway, for which he received a fine of $7,000.
Months later, in December, he decided to start a business of food, after the success that took their quesadillas. Thus, Taco Ranch began its history.
