DNC Launches National Spanish Language Ad
The Democratic National Committee launched a Spanish language radio ad to hold Republicans accountable for the divisive, negative rhetoric we’ve seen them use toward the Latino community. The ad, which is part of a seven-figure national advertising blitz, exposes how Republican anti-immigrant and anti-Latino sentiment is dangerously spreading across the country, with our children paying the price.
“Democrats believe our diversity is our great strength. We welcome Americans of all backgrounds and ethnicities into our party, and we’re fighting to build an economy that works for all, not just those at the top. The contrast with the Republican Party couldn’t be more clear. We’ve seen a troubling rise in divisive and hateful rhetoric from Republicans up and down the ballot and Democrats are going to hold them accountable. Our children shouldn’t have to face hate in school because of baseless partisan political attacks on their heritage.” – DNC Hispanic Caucus Chair, Iris Martinez
The DNC contracted with MAP Wins, a Hispanic owned and operated media firm, to produce and purchase our advertisements on Hispanic radio and digital outlets. The first of these ads will begin airing this week in over 700 radio stations, on key Spanish language networks across the country including Univision, the Hispanic Radio Network, GLR Networks, and Latinos Unidos Online.
